Art/Deco Metaled Floors

"The sensuality of metalised wood"

  • What is a metaled wood floor?
A thin layer of pure metal (not metallic paint) is applied in cold and liquid form on a wooden structured surface. After applying the metal to the wood, the surface is sanded and polished for a shiny and glossy finish. Surface is 97% pure metal.

  • Where can it be used?
It can be used indoors and outdoors. The metaled surface is very weather and humidity resistant. The floors are also 100% UV resistant.
  • Cleaning and durability?
Most household cleaning products can be used to clean metaled floors, except for any products that state they are unsuitable to use for cleaning metals. These floors will show some signs of wear in high traffic areas. The floors have been tested and are very durable, however, they may show slight to medium scratches.
